Unmarked private purchase (German: Extrakoppelschloss) Wehrmacht Heer buckle for parade use. Buckle bears the motto "GOTT MIT UNS" (German: God with us) and oak leaf branches around the eagle clutching the swastika. Two-piece light metal (German: Leichtmetall) construction. The faceplate is separately attached with four tabs passed through slots and bent. Overall very good condition with evidence of being worn with some minor scratches.
