Most widely used steel helmet in the history of the Red Army - SSH-40. Operational use began as early as the first months of the war and lasted till the end of the war.
Good condition with minor rust. The buckles of the chinstrap are rusty as well, although still in good condition. The serial number is clearly visible albeit the stamp is unreadable due to the rust and dirt. Shows signs of over-paint around the edges, some of it on the liner.
