German field cap of Reichsarbeitsdienst (RAD) Officer by Peter Küpper, Wu.-Ronsdorf. It's a nicely worn example, constructed from finely woven olive-brown wool. Complete with textbook bullion wire piping indicating officer rank. The front of the field cap features a machine-woven BeVo Reichsarbeitsdienst organizational emblem insignia. This emblem depicts a white and red shovel, with a mobile black swastika in the center, and two wheat stalks on both sides. The emblem is hand-stitched to the cap. The interior of the cap is lined in light brown fabric, stamped with the manufacturing firm's mark - Peter Küpper, Wu.-Ronsdorf, and a size stamp - 59, and separately a date stamp '1 1 1942'.

The cap has a few small moth holes on the front. Shows expected signs of wear and use.
Otherwise, an excellent condition side cap that is not very commonly seen.
