WWII period German silver ring with a gold front plate, that most probably belonged to a German Luftwaffe officer, serving in occupied Norway.
The Luftwaffe eagle is depicted on the front plate of the ring, accompanied by the inscription 'NORWEGEN' and the date '1940'.
The Norway national flag is also attached to the front of the ring, below the swastika.
Very attractive ring of great quality.
Minor damage to the inside of the ring shank, and partly damaged enamel of the flag on the front plate.
Otherwise very good condition.
Rarely seen on the collector's market.
Approx. 19.8 mm in diameter
