Eastern Front Medal (German: Medaille Winterschlacht im Osten 1941/1942) for Spanish volunteers (veterans) in the German Army.
The medal is very crudely made, lacks detail, and seems to have been put together from two molded pieces (clearly seen along the rim), a typical Spanish version production.
Unknown maker. No original ribbon.
Extremely rare.
The medals were issued to former soldiers (veterans) of the Blue Division, that served at the Eastern Front from November 15, 1941, to April 15, 1942.
It is however unknown when these medals were made.
