German Gymnastics Association (German: Deutscher Turnerbund) silver ring. The front plate of the ring bears the Deutscher Turnerbund cross emblem. The emblem is made up of four letters "F" as a reference to the Deutscher Turnerbund motto - "Frisch, Froh, Fromm und Frei" (English: Fresh, Happy, Pious and Free). Marked "835 S" for silver content. Manufactured by German firm Frey & Co, Pforzheim (maker's mark is located inside the ring shank - F*).
Good condition. Evenly spread patina. Split ring shank. 21,0 mm in diameter.
