The badge of Latvian paramilitary organization "Aizsargi". Good condition. Numbered (3002). Manufactured by A/S A. Ratfelders, Kalku iela 11. Riga.
Despite Aizsargi operated in the period between 1919 and 1940, these badges were still worn by early Schuma units and most probably by Latvian SS legionnaires, due to the known practice of SS soldiers wearing their earlier Latvian awards.
