World War I period ring with skull and crossbones, known in German as 'Totenkopfring'. Ornaments and stars on both sides of the front plate. Also, on the left side of the shank is seen a sandglass, and on the right - a flag with a pole (?). Totenkopfrings were very popular among German Army troops during World War I and World War II as well.
Ring made of non-precious metal. Skull is slightly bent on top and bottom. Otherwise good condition. Rare.
