Army expert rifle shooter badge of Latvian army. Oxidised silver (875 silver content hallmark on the obverse), worn by first-class shooters - officers and career-servicemen. 1931-1941.
The regulations stated that the badge have to be worn on the left, one centimeter above the line specified for the breast orders. The badges were to be arranged in a row from left to right in the following order: rifle, automatic rifle, machine gun, pistol.
Maker marked on the screw plate by S. Bertz, Riga Metals.
