WWII period silver German ring with a Luftwaffe eagle, an inscription 'NORGE', and the date 1940 on the front plate.
Most probably a private order of the German soldiers to commemorate their service years in Norway (city of Stavanger).
On the inside of the ring shank initials of the former owner (J.M.) and an inscription ('Stavanger') are seen.
Heavily deformed, split, and damaged ring shank. 830S silver content hallmark and initials of the designer (producer) 'V.T' inside the shank.
